Gallup Campus Traffic Study

The City of Omaha hired EGA staff to perform a traffic impact study to determine the impacts of redeveloping 66 acres of downtown area into a campus for a national headquarters of a large corporation. The study entailed combining traffic studies for Creighton University and the Arena Convention Center being built in the Omaha Riverfront area. It also analyzed the impact to the surrounding roadway network of combining a one-way pair of streets into a two-way street and recommended improvements to make this modification operate acceptably.
