EGA was hired by the Nebraska Furniture Mart to design two new traffic signals and remove an existing pedestrian signal, used primarily by employees, with the changes made with the construction of the new pickup center and internal traffic movements within the Nebraska Furniture Mart parking lots. A new signal was constructed at the intersection of 76th and the newly constructed Harney Drive. When the Nebraska Furniture Mart constructed the new warehouse and pickup center, a new main entrance into the Electronic Warehouse parking lot was constructed. This main entrance was located within close proximity of an existing pedestrian signal that was used by the Nebraska Furniture Mart employees to cross the street from the employee parking lot. A new signal was designed and constructed at the new main entrance to the Electronic Warehouse and the existing pedestrian signal was removed.
