Ehrhart Griffin & Associates were hired in 1999 by the City of Omaha to prepare a comprehensive boundary and topographic survey of the project area for a new parking garage planned and constructed West of the existing Omaha, NE City-County Building on Harney Street. An Administrative Subdivision Plat was also prepared in advance of the site design for the new garage. Conceptually, the new garage was to be linked to the existing Civic Center by a tunnel under 18th Street, which required extensive utility research. EGA was also retained by the Contractor in charge of erecting the garage in 2000 to set grid line and vertical control for the project.
