The Roman L. Hruska Federal Courthouse
Omaha, NE

Construction of a $52 million dollar Federal Courthouse was initiated in 1999' in Omaha, NE by Clark Construction of Maryland. Shortly after the erection of the steel and exterior walls had begun, it was determined that an error had been made by others that had caused an alignment problem of considerable magnitude which had to be resolved before further progress could be made. Ehrhart Griffin & Associates were brought in to evaluate and assist in rectifying the control for the building. After the problem had been corrected, EGA was retained to supply all additional layout and verification through the end of the project in 2000.
