The former Union Pacific Railroad Station is the current home of the Western Heritage Museum. In 1994, Ehrhart Griffin & Associates were hired to prepare a comprehensive survey to assist in the restoration efforts which included the reconstruction of the ramp on the North as well as the upper and lower level parking. This was coordinated with the City of Omaha's effort to improve Leavenworth St. on the North and subsequently with the reconstruction of the 10th St. viaduct.
